Does anybody have drawings for a roll cage or roll bar for the M100?
Need to get one made before I take the Elan on track or hill climbing.

There are mixed views on the effectiveness of roll hoops in a crash so it may be well worth reading everything on the forum first and deciding for yourself. I looked into it and decided against it as it looked more cosmetic than of any practical use. In fact some see it as quite possibly being dangerous in that it could bend over and crush the drivers head. Others are more optimistic but without something substantial to bolt it to, so that it stays in position regardless of the direction of impact, then I'm in the pessimistic camp.

My wife's just divorced me because I wouldn't open the car door for her!
To be fair I panicked and swam straight for the surface.

Craig
There are in practice 2 types of roll bar for the Elan: the cosmetic one and the real race one.
Both types have been fitted by LEC members. However, as you wish to race then I imagine only the approved race type would be satisfactory.
I would suggest, as does Artaban in fact, you search this site (roll cage or roll bar) then contact those who have fitted the full race version. If you have no joy then speak to a company who make race roll cages as a business.
Good luck

Hi
As I remember, there's Kuching Roll hoops before not just for cosmetic. Is this still available to buy in UK?
