This thread is intended to bring together all the information on the subject in one thread. !!!!!!!.
There are many who now who runs with big bore exhaust, upgraded turbo, larger injectors, closed loop circuit and mountain chip. The information about these upgrades is spread over so many threads that it is difficult to get an overview of what is done, why, and how it works. This is therefore an appeal to all those who have made the modifications, to share their experiences with everyone else, so we have a place to discuss the various parameters involved in the modifications, and not least how to control of the fuel, avoiding driving too lean or too rich.
It will be interesting to know .:
1. What alternative turbos are being used.
2. How large bore exhaust are being used.
3. What type of injectors, for example. 522cc, and which make.?.
4. What mountain chip along with which type of ECM with which memcal. Could it be any type.?.
5. Which leads must be swapped in mains connector to the ECM to eliminate the CO2 potentiometer and connect the O2 lampdasensor.
6. Can the car after this go through the MOT without problems.
7. What was the gain in BHP.
8.Other needed modifications, eks. re-ported waste-gate.?.
9. 3 bar mapsensor, or.?.
This information will be vital for members of LEC who are considering making these upgrades. Much of the information is already on the forum, but spread over so many different threads, that it is impossible to assemble an overview. And we also need one place where there can be discussion for and against the modifications, and the engine management problems they may arise.
