EVEREST CHIP INSTALLED

Postby Tannerman » Sat 30.09.2017, 12:18

Hi guys, after doing the brakes and suspension I have decided to install the Everest chip.
Really happy power delivery is a lot smoother and quicker and the car feels lighter it just wants to keep on revving.
The instructions to fit it are excellent and if I can do it you can too ( technophobe and fat fingers)
Very happy and worth the investment...many thanks Alan :burnout:

I've always maintained this is the best £100 you can spend on the M100. Assuming that the brakes are working efficiently :burnout:

Nah ... just more power.... :bananasex: and don't even think the car is lighter, yet alone say it - It will take a lot more stopping when you're going faster so think 'heavy' ... .

I have a spare ECU with Everest chip that I swap with the OE ECU and the main difference is only at the top end. At the moment I'm on winter tyres and the OE ECU so I don't spin the wheels when I'm pressing on...

I would certainly recommend a Recirculating Dump Valve for anybody fitting an Everest Chip.

Hi,

Where is the best place to buy the Everest Chip?

How east is it to install a Dump Valve and again where can you buy one?

Thanks, Andrew
