This represents a reasonably typical LEC Thread, but come on guys, you can do better than this.

The original poster has contributed only the original post, then has (sensibly) bogged off somewhere else like down the pub. Then the rest of us have added nearly a full page* of useful and informative information without the original poster showing further interest.

What we need now is some good off-topic stuff and a bit of mild and polite aggro in an exchange of views between at least two LEC Stalwarts about something that preferably has nothing to do with the original question.

In the good old days it would end with some threats from Sy to play nicely together or he would remove the protagonists access rights or testicles, then everybody would lose interest.

Fings ain’t wot they used to be... :(

*P.S.: I see that we are actually now on p2.

Excellent stuff (but you do have to make allowances for these Edinburgh people - if you want to wind one up just mention either “trams” or “20 mph limit” or “Glasgow”) and fulfills at least the initial off-topic requirement of any decent LEC Thread.

Not sure if it fulfills the LEC Stalwart requirement, though.

Well, for what it's worth, I haven't yet commented as I thought it had all been said (ie, the SE has 3 keys and the S2 has 1 - unless anything has been changed since leaving the factory).

Anyway, whilst I'm here, does anybody know........... (enter any off-topic question you wish to know the answer to - preferably one which will ellicit an arguement or is so bloody obvious that even your granny would know the answer).
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

go on - click this link - you know you want to!

Only thing my granny would know is the answer to ... is there life after death... as she hasn't contacted me to tell me in 20 years I guess the answer is 'No'... anybody else know? ...

Maybe she is just having a good time and doesn’t like you. :smt102

This is not a personal slight, just a suitably off-topic philosophical musing post.

This is a scurrilous lie... I was already down the pub when I wrote my original question, I find it saves time that way.

(also thanks to everyone for the replies... now I just need to find an S2 for breaking that still has all the keys)
