My website/hosting account has been hacked, so the site is down at the moment. I'll see if I can get it sorted out tomorrow. What fun

Do you have any of the federal Élan mountain chips available at the moment and if you do how much would it be sent to California usa.

Many Thanks.

I restored the ElanScan site from backup but, not wanting get hacked again, I've migrated it onto the newest version of the web site software and a new mobile friendly template. I'm kicking the tyres and amping up the security before taking off the password protection.

The site is freely accessible now. Expect it to be a bit slow as all the attack bots try to hack it!

The new site is based on a completely new setup so if you spot any problems/glitches with page setup or functionality let me know. I've attempted to make it mobile device friendly too so let me know your experiences with that.

I just had a quick look at the site on my ipad, in the shop section there doesn't appear to be any items to select.

Yes - the item categories appear in the menus at the top not on that page. I intend to add them on that page as well - once I can figure out how to do it elegantly.

Thanks for the feedback.

I also found out yesterday that the add to cart button didn't work in explorer, the delete from cart button didn't refresh the page and show an empty cart in chrome.... It all worked fine in Firefox. I think it's fixed for all three now. The pop-up when you add something still isn't perfect (an image is missing and the button formatting is wrong) but I'm getting there.

When I click on the link to your website, I get the message 'NOT FOUND". I'm using Firefox.

Yeah I managed to completely break the site when trying to fix issues that I can't replicate on my local copy. I'm going to have to restore a backup...

Restored now. After that I completely reinstalled the shopping plugin because I think it was a bit stuffed up in the Joomla upgrade migration - there were a load of entries associated with older versions in the database (which I killed off manually). It seems to get to the right page when you hit checkout in explorer now! It'll probably go wrong somewhere else but I'm off to bed now.

I'm hoping to buy a Kilimanjaro chip but both 9299 options are showing 'No Stock', and ESM's profile says he hasn't logged on here since last year.

Has anyone any ideas?

Hi all,
I found the same problem, so I e-mailed from his website, still no reply after several weeks.

It's not his job, just a hobby.
I believe they are made to order so will always be out of stock.

Just so everyone knows I have been, and am still, selling chips. The new Moates switcher (sold in the V5 kit on my site) doesn't seem to work in the Elan so they aren't available for the moment but the V4 is still there.

The V4 stock levels on the site are accurate (not many left now, I need to order some more stock). The site is set up so that orders only authorize payment to be taken from your paypal account for one month. I take the money immediately before I ship so you can order with confidence that you won't get charged anything unless I send out a chip. If the stock level hits zero the site won't accept an order.

I apologise to anyone who didn't get a reply to an inquiry, I run my own one man scientific consultancy and I have been incredibly busy. I'll try to keep up with the emails in future.
