Weren't they in the parts sale?

I suspect they might have been 'cos I bought one - and I don't throw money around ;)

I'm looking for the engine shake damper 100A6007F.
Any alternatives out there, as this part is obsolete ?

Peter: I looked up engine torque damper on eBay and found there are a lot of 6 inch generic dampers available. here is a link for one in the UK:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Torque-Damper ... 0629122612?

If the original is shorter than 6 inches, let me know and i will look for something shorter. I will dig through the pile of parts collecting in the corner to see if I have one for the red car that I can measure.
The technology should be about the same for a Honda, Toyota or Isuzu.

Hi John, the torque damper is still available at my dealer.
The shake damper is obsolete... I'll check it when I change the coolant hose kit.
I'll take some measurments and post it here.

Lotus shows BOTH the torque damper and shake damper as obsolete. I think they used two different names only to keep them easier to identify as they are both torque dampers but the main torque damper is larger than the shake damper. I believe any torque damper you find that is the same design and length will work.

Both the Torque Damper and the Shake Damper are small shocks.

The shake damper is approx 7 inches from bracket hole center to the other bracket hole center. There is an Isuzu part number on it: 8-94313585-2
I couldn't find any references on Google.

The torque damper is longer and it has a GM part number on it: 90 129 493
eBay has a used one listed: ENGINE MOUNT DAMPER C30SE C30NE 30E C26NE 30NE Monza Senator Carlton: item # 360494264207

Thanks for this info, I'll check with my local GM dealer to see if they can deliver the "torque damper".
Lotus Verhiest still has (at least 1) on stock, which I already ordered.
Nevertheless, if available at GM, I can still cancel my order if price difference is too big.

For the smaller one, I'll try to find an alternative.
Will keep LEC updated if I find one, so we all can benefit.

Today I got the news that also at GM the Torque Damper is obsolete.
Though with 1 dealer, there seems to be 1 on stock. I asked my dealer to get it for me.
In case I end up with 2 torque dampers, I'm sure I'll be able to make someone else happy when offering it here.
No intention of making a profit, I'll offer it at cost price.

For the shake damper, I asked a connection to take a look at the picture and gave him measurements.
Maybe he can come up with an alternative...
