To resurrect an old thread, as I am fitting 4 new calipers and lots of new pipes, I wanted a new BMC as well.

This site gives lots of info:

http://www.x1-autoteile.de/index.php?si ... nArtNr=258

In German but the basics are clear enough. Then found this:

http://www.ebay.de/itm/Hauptbremszylind ... 5893213da5

For that price, worth a look especially as the OE numbers look good. This arrived.

Hopefully will get it fitted this week, could be €13 well spent. :D

I'd be interested in knowing which stock BMC version you have - the 3 or 4 pipe version? Be sure to have a look when you take the old one out ans compare them carefully.

4 pipe version. 2 x M10 & 2 x M12

I think that is normal for a RHD car

Just to compare new & old.

Everything looks good and a great price. Reservoirs are cheap on the aftersales as well, don't come with the cap though.

Just to update, this BMC fitted perfectly, new reservoir from the aftersales and the brakes are great!

Cliff, you posted two sites for Master brake cylinders. Did you purchase the one from E-bay or did you get the Brembo?
