Ahhh, so simple, the seal must be sticky after 19 years! Thanks all, time to finally put in some good
oil (Reline MTL) and do the short shift kit. Hopefully this will make it shift the way it should.

No he don't - the level of oil on that dipstick means it'll never reach the top of the hole to spill out

Ok...new update on the car.
They pulled the tranny. I had the infamous bolt loose as well as my 5th gear syncro ring damaged. They said it was done and ready for pick up. Now I'm afraid to drive it cause of damaging it again.
