Hi all,
pulled out today and no sooner than I shifted into first gear the car became stuck in first gear. I cannot get it out of first gear. Does this mean I've broken the linkage cables?

Simple way to check is to have someone move the gear stick whilst you look at the top of the gearbox (remove the coolant tank out of the way first) to see if the levers are moving!
