SJ Gear Cables ?

Hi John, is there an easy way to find out what cables are fitted to my car?
When I bought it there was a set of broken cables in the trunk - so I know they've been replaced, but I don't know if it was with stock cables or with yours.
Seems the cable diameter might be the easiest indicator?

I'd like to go to the quickshift - but I don't have the budget at the moment to replace working cables and a short-shift.

Are the short shift cables still available ? I'm not a newbie, had to start again with new membership as coildnt reme.ber old password !
