How is UK distribution at all related to bushes not being installed on the cables you shipped to WillB? That's like blaming your car when you get home and see that the Fast Food joint forgot to put fries in the bag.

Wierdly, it's not all of them.

I can't imagine any LECer wanting to steal all these poxy bushes and hide them away - and I think Will would have noticed loads of bushes sloshing around inthe package if they were loose and in any case some cables arrived at their end user in a securely fastened sealed polythene bag without the bush fitted or in the package - it's bl66dy daft.

My new AB cables are on!

First impressions: Stiff. (F*** I'm going to break the gear lever stiff). Really not self centreing.

Especially stiff between 1st and 2nd, 2nd and 3rd, and 3rd and 2nd. Not so stiff from 2nd to 1st?

3rd to 4th and 4th to 3rd have loosened up very well in less than 100 cross country b-road miles (including transiting Reading at rush hour). Cross gate movement is already better in neutral, and from 5th to 4th and 4th to 5th.

I think the 1st>2nd and 2nd>3rd>2nd transitions are also easing, but they are still really quite stiff.

Still stiff, but easing gradually.

AB Cables? Should have called 'em Viagra cables.
