Shifter straight up

I know the answer is somewhere here, does anyone know how to get the shifter straight up? Not at that 30 degrees to the right. I have Dave's Short Shifter.

If you have just fitted the short shift you will need to re adjust the cables at the gearbox end.
Treat with some care as the twist and lock type are quite fragile and prone to breaking and may break in use due to the increase in the loads being applied to the cable outer ends.

Tilted to the right? You mean towards the passenger seat? I wouldn't like that either.
I didn't like my gear stick vertical either. As the pdf supplied by Bob suggests, 10% towards me felt better when I was adjusting mine.
Make sure you sit comfortably & change gear a few times before re-fitting your intake hose & water bottle!

Yes, 30 degrees toward the passenger, sorry bout that I forget what country I'm in. I fitted Dave's short shifter years ago,(big improvement) and I don't think I ever got it 10 degrees towards the driver. I just got the car back, we did the Quife LSD and new, (stock) clutch. So maybe when the mechanic hooked everything up, something went wrong. They look like the stock cables
