ok i,m now starting to look at the engine / gearbox as it's out of the car which is 75K miles new
is there anything with respect to the gearbox that I should take the opertunity to check ?: any pre load nuts need checking etc..
also: the clutch, it was good and solid prior to taking the car off the road: I should be around the 200hp mark when I go back on the road, are the clutches generally good as std in the S2: or should I be thinking of a higher spec one ? - and what is their general service life? should I be replacing it as a matter of course given the miles done - or is this well within the expected service life ?
thanks

I suggest a good read of the manual, it mentions lots of things that you can check that aren't covered in the maintenance schedule.
