Gear selection

Postby elnaught » Sun 15.04.2018, 22:30

I put my car into first today and it stuck in gear, the gear stick just went sloppy and would not select any other gears, I have tried at the gearbox and you can select all the gears and the gear stick moves in the car as you select them at the box, from reading other posts I guess the is an issue with leaver end/ I need new cables, I would appreciate any thoughts or photos to give me a clue, some of the old posts no longer have images?

Thanks for all your help/advice, I found a broken E clip in the tunnel so mystery solved.

Awaiting a new clip from Paul Matty Sports Cars @ £1.40 so for once seems to be a relatively cheap and easy repair, hope I haven't spoken too soon!
