Hi
could anyone tell me the difference between the S2 gear cables and the original SE cables ?

Looking at the parts manual it looks like they also require a different bracket that fixes to the gear box .

Has anyone fitted these to an SE ?

Yes, they're preferable to the originals, but I and many others say forget Lotus ones - spend the extra (I say extra but for the pair it's actually cheaper) and get AB's - one of the best upgrades I've ever bought.

Totally agree. This a no brainer upgrade. Like the brake upgrade, the equipment is clearly better engineered. The cables are beefier and the result is a more firm shift pattern and the sense that these cables will be serviceable longer than the originals.

Of course, I would love to hear if there have been failures in Alan's cable set. Kinda doubt it though.

Not sure if I fully understand this upgrade, can someone tell me please what is the real benefits of uprading the gear cables?
