How much did Guy Mundy sell it for ? I don't remember it being nearly that much

The current seller also appears to be a dealer ?

The seller is a classic car collector and just thinning out some cars to make room for some different vehicles. Same family who owned my Elan from new.
Nice family and big Lotus enthusiast so if anyone is interested it is worth giving him a call to discuss.

Guy Munday is Cranley Sports and Classics and usually has some very nice vehicles at very reasonable prices.
He must have sold this to Stuart and his dad last year who know a bargain when they see one.

i hate writing flannel , but if you look at it via the phone app it clips the opening sentence an last sentence .. Thus making it look like a load of waffle .

though does give a big hello to LEC

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Not technically "Written Off" It was a cat D which is a Constructive Total Loss which means the Insured or the TP would have agreed the deal and could have retained the salvage which they appear to have not done.
Possibly TP whereby the insurer has protected against diminution and hire costs.
Under new guidelines vehicle would be cat N.
