"HAS THE RIGHT LOOK AND FEEL ABOUT IT"

I take it that it looks like a Lotus Elan M100 ?

Nice.

I've not seen that one before.
Have you been asking him questions Clemo? Because he's added more info since I looked an hour ago!
Current bid £5200, wonder what the reserve is. (I'd just decided what Agreed Value to ask for on my car based on the S2s for sale (priced £10k - £13k) and now these cheaper ones have come up!

)

Reserve is £8300 but he wants more than that.
I’ve asked.

Yep .
Number any damage and reserve and current bid of £5200 is me but i don't expect it to be that for long.
Agreed value on yours sounds correct to me .

I think it’s a spam advert as it appeared a couple of weeks ago and was removed. I note it’s no longer available now in any event.

My Elan m100 na is now for sale .
Fellow lec member told me to put it on here and here it is.
Hi Gmacz
Didn't a garage have this for sale a while back but lost the log book and keys? I remember bidding on it .... Then there was some confusion with the number plate . Both me and Britshsteel were after it.
I take it all is good with that side of it now ?
Might have another punt .

It was on gumtree and i sold it to a bloke in fife but he did not want the number plate and sale was on condition that number plate was removed. Dvla would not allow it to be removed unless it was motd etc. I knew this was wrong but it has taken me until now to get the plate of the car. Original plate is now back on the car. Guy in fife sent a text message that had content that was not very nice and he blew away a bargain m100. Should have paid extra for plate, it was still a bargain. Sometimes it takes time with dvla and you have to wait.

Now on ebay as i hate selling stuff and it will go to highest bidder. Have added info to listing as original was copied from gumtree. If i fix it, i will use it so little that it makes no sense, i have other toys.
Elan has never been in a garage and log book has always been here but keys were missing and found both sets. Dont think this is same car you mentioned.

Selling cars can be way to difficult for sure.
I am a fan of the N/A as you know. Got a fair few bits still in my lock up for my old one.
What do you suppose it will take to get back to its former glory (apart from the Brakes mentioned) . It still looks good on the photo .
Are the wishbones ok ?
Hope it all works out for you this time

Will need cambelt done due to age. Jacked it up in all 4 corners and no creaking noises etc. Not looked closely at wishbones, if keeping it, i would need to strip them back to bare metal and check for problems and paint them. Driver seat needs repaired. Wheels need painted or buy the spare ones. There may be other things as it has been sitting a while but no guarantees as sold as spares or repair. Fife guy bought it in 30 secs while viewing.

Not sure why people are bidding on number plate E14 NGM, unless your initials are NGM of course ...
ebay listingAs it's shown it's an MOT fail and may cost a lot more than the purchase price
MOT :
Registration plates
A registration plate must be fitted at the front and rear. The plates must be secure and clearly legible to someone standing 20 metres away from the car.
The characters on the plate must be correctly formed and spaced and not likely to be misread.Person I know put his Maserati in for it's first MOT and got a fail due to a personalized and incorrectly spaced plate so he had new ones made in order to pass.
Once he'd got the MOT Pass he refitted the incorrect ones and foolishly drove through Essex that uses a lot of ANPR.
He got pulled by the Police, who looked up MOT history and saw the Fail so skipped the £60 Fixed Penalty and went straight for the £1,000 max saying it was a deliberate attempt to make the plate unreadable to ANPR. Ouch!
Phil
Leave me alone, I think I know what I'm doing.
Cars: Subaru Forester 2.5XTN, Eclat Riviera, brace of Pacific Blue SE's, Collapso SE, Elan+2S.... and now an Evora

I must have been mistaken then . I was bidding on a red NA from a guy in Scotland who was selling one . He had it on gumtree at the same time . He also had a number plate he wanted to remove and sell . He could not find the keys so took it off sale .
I wonder what ever happened to that elan ??
I would be interested in bidding for this one .
