Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Yep looks like they arent worth much, I sold one a long time ago and did very well, I must have sold at the right time.

If it was BGL *7 it would be worth the princely sum of £4500

It says 'one of the last' not 'the last one'

i had a couple of late registered N platers , though they were late 700's they didn't actually run in order of last made = last registered.
AFAIK 800 is an azure blue.
Jim Clark S2 - 1/12. The one with the Yellow spoke wheels . No 613 on dash (pushed in to factory in wrong order 615 on tub)

I think we have a new contender for the title of "saddest Elan ever to be offered for sale":

I think that this is Piperman's project car. I always thought that his project was ambitious, but it is sad if it is his health that prevents him from doing the restoration.

Even Dico's Beast that's been stored in the cowshed for 5 years doesn't look that bad

Not even DVB are desperate enough to bid on that one

'Pond find' more like, if you can photograph the car (badly) I'm sure you could offer a kid some money to take the cover - all the way off and actually wash the car and take some decent photos.
There's more biology there than car!

It's a very good point that Phil makes - indeed it is sad if poor health has brought the owner to this point, but a tenner or the promise of a cut in the profits lobbed in the direction of a teenager could have had the car washed and advertised properly.
Why would you want to put "Lots of trouble usually serious" in the title, and post upside-down pictures of crumpled Capri-Sun cartons?!?
There are virtually no useful facts in the advert - all that I can see that I might want are the number-plate plinth, cigarette lighter and heater controls!

4 bidders and currently one of them thinks it's worth £820+ and that based upon the evidence provided! can't understand it myself!
What amuses me is the amount of 'watchers' - it must be almost all of the current active LEC membership
Oh, and I wandered if one of the questions came from DVB 'Steve'?
