S2 no 552 ( SOLD)

I have decided to sell my lovely Little Elan.
It is a '95 M reg in Calypso Red with Raven leather and 72k miles.
Original hand book stamped mainly with SGT and B&C.
Receipts back to 1999 and most recent one at GST where it had full 'B' and 'C' service.
It will be serviced again in the spring at Geralds and a new MOT added.
Also I will fit a new stainless exhaust as the rear box is blowing now.
It is in very good original condition and everything works fine.
I will advertise it more widely in the spring but it is available to view for LECers atm.
More pics and updates will be added.
With the interest in these Elans growing and the S2s becoming more and more sought after I will be asking in the region of £10,000 with everything done and prepped for the market.
If you are genuinely looking for a good S2 then this may be worth a viewing.

Hi Adrian, yes as stated in the original post it will be ready soon.
Been a bit slow with posting some pictures, sorry.
A new Piper stainless steel system is on order and it is booked in to GST for the beginning of April.

Just serviced this week at GST and mot'd till end of April 2017.
New stainless Piper system fitted so looking forward to that when I pick it up tomorrow.
Also new Alpine cd player with ipod usb and 4x50 watts put in last week.
Brand new wind deflector ready to go in as well.

I don't normally comment on for sale post as mostly it would be to the effect of dream on!

But you are so going to regret selling! That's a good straight looking car, if as you describe, and with service, MOT, and a new exhaust. I would go as far as to say you price is a little light - You can't even say it is for quick sale as you posted it here months ago!

Thanks Dave, it has had a wax treatment underneath in the past and it doesn't suffer from any of the usual oil leaks atm.
It is of to Fulcher Coachtrimmers next week to have the two notorious wear points strengthened on the hood.
Then a full Renova colour and waterproof treatment.

Many thanks for your hospitality and letting us interrupt your post-Christmas wind-down to view the elan.

My monitor shows the photos on here as a little pink, but in the flesh/fibreglass it's pure calypso.
The car looks good and drives well, and is a very nice example of a straight well maintained S2.
I certainly agree with your earlier quote:

Thanks Rambo, yes that is still around what I am looking for.
Prices have definitely started to rise more rapidly recently.
Coming up for another trip to GST soon where it will be serviced and MOT'd.
