The black cut and shut beast on ebay fetched £2250. not too bad a price really. run it till the mot runs out and break for spares?
4+ hours stuck in a damp bucket seat with a mad Irishman at the wheel - Deep joy!!!!

If you asked Clemo nicely, and he was available, he might look at it for you.
Doesn't sound too bad and at that price it is almost breaker money so you can hardly go wrong!

no seriously , if the guy wants a hand around it the i am on call...
its too expensive for a breaker and (ihmo) the gearbox outweighs buying this car over any other...
and reserve not met anyway..
