Amazing condition underneath. Looks like it's a garage queen though :?

And as for the go faster stripes... WTF ?? Spoils the pristine white look but I guess they're easily removed

but its done 87,000 miles !! Maybe its a garage queen currently after a rebuild. Stripes could easily be removed and not sure about those wheels........

Would it being in South Carolina attribute to the condition, although that is amazingly clean.
And 1 of 50?

The car is in Ohio, not South Carolina. Ohio is a Northern, snow state that uses lots of salt for ice control.

I think he might have done a Ferris Bueller and just ran up the miles while it was on jack stands... :-D

Ah yes I can see it now, port of importation Charleston.
Is that where a lot of vehicles are imported for the states or would it have been sent more or less to the required area to get to the dealership.

Lotus US was in Atlanta Georgia when the M100 was coming over. Charleston was the nearest port so transportation costs would have been cheaper by using that port.

Now, Lotus are in Michigan which is significantly north and inland, so they probably use a Northeastern port now.

I believe the 1 of 50 refers to the color.
