For no reason whatsoever my insurance almost doubled (premium period begins Nov 8th). It's hard to justify paying that much just for a few thousand miles per year.

My plan to wait until spring & top-down motoring to sell this car IN THE MIDDLE OF A BLOODY ECONOMIC MELTDOWN looks pretty daft now, doesn't it? Still whatever, I've not even found the time to go through all the receipts and write up the add yet! As I've got major surgery on 3/25 with a 5-day hospital stay that should give me the down-time to do some typing. I will try to stay as close to April as my personal time allows and we shall see what a truly outstanding M100 can still fetch. I will however, offer the car with a reserve somewhat similar to the one stated, as this is not a forced sale, and has turned out to be really bad timing on my part (crosses fingers in hopes the world economy is not soon reduced to barter. NOTE: If it is, you'll be better off holding a perfectly functional sportscar than worthless greenbacks!)

Bad timing. On the way home tonight the car started running really rough all of a sudden, like one of the coils went bad. I'm thinking either that or its the CAS.

That's the easiest repair I ever made. The car flashed a code 31. I took the plug out of the MAP, put copper paste on the 3 prongs, then plugged it back in. Now the car works aces.

Heard from the doc Monday & he got around to my case too late to precert it for the 25th, still waiting to get a new surgery date. However he's only gonna do a L3/4 foraminotomy plus remove some of the fusion hardware; in the past he had mentioned also doing a laminectomy & addressing the L1/2 vertebra, so I'm getting off lightly. Kinda pissed he pooped around though esp. since his nurse said on Friday, "Oh no, plan on being here, you're 3rd on his surgery list that day." R-i-g-h-t.

The delay will probably give me time to get the engine detailed though, as I have gotten EVERYTHING else done except for the headlight install.
