I'm really sorry if this is covered elsewhere, but a search provided little real help. And this is probably dumb question of the week
I have an SE and I'd like to know exactly where I can place axle stands. If it's on the jacking points, please help this idiot and explain how I get the stand under the jacking point considering that I'd have to have used the jacking point to jack the car up??

Thank you! I didn't think to check there because I wrongly thought the car could only be jacked on the specific jacking points. Another day in school!

No worries. I'm still learning things 18 years later
WikiLEC is a good source for problem solving

I drilled a 7/8" hole into a hockey puck. The puck fits nicely in the cradle of my jack and prevents the jacking point post from sliding on the jack.
