Did a track day yesterday. Weather conditions were perfect (the only dry, bright and sunny day this month! Roof was down all day!). I was wondering if anyone had done a laps of Snetterton and had a lap time that I can compare?
My S2 is standard, except for front brakes - Bob Brown's Vectra/Saab Calipers with Subaru Disks.
Although it was supposed to be a track day, Radical Race Cars were there, practising for this weekend's racing, so was a bit intimidating, but lots of fun and quite an experience with the differing closing speeds!
I was lapping consistently about 2:55, with a couple of laps at 2:53. Only recorded a few laps on my Garmin:

which circuit?
300, 200 or 100?
if its the 300 Id say not too bad...
if the 200 Id say you were not trying
if the 100 then Id say pedestrian....
I’m normally not a praying man, but if you’re up there, please save me, Superman.

Lol, the 300 of course! It did feel very slow compared to the other cars out there, but many where Radicals or stripped out track day cars (most people where putting on track day tyres, even the ones with road cars)

Shaun, the back marker was doing 2:37 in the Elise Trophy today. So not to far off, a bit more practice and you could be getting close.
Mr Bently in the Hanger111 car was doing 2:12s though.

My 14 year old son was doing 2:23 in his Fiesta ST (2008 model) on the 300 circuit in July having never seen the circuit before and only the second time he'd driven his Fiesta. On treaded race (not road legal) tyres, stock engine bar filter and exhaust, maybe 170bhp
