Oh dear, guest what i`ve done :-D gone and booked another trackday at Oulton at the end of the month. For £80 i couldn`t say no, booked it with LOT (was there last place available) but it`s an easytrack event and if u book it through them it was £130 so thats got to be a bargin.

BTW, it NOT a novice day and a mixture of cars. Its on friday 26th Jan

Have fun, Monty. Your video of your first trip was great.

Just avoid the gravel this time. You looked awfully exposed sitting there if somebody else had spun off. I want to see an undamaged, unscratched PinkyII at Donington.

Hope you get good weather.

John

Well i booked another trackday at Oulton for Tuesday 6th November, hence the reason for doing my head gasket last weekend. But now there`s a change of plan, Russ Treasure of NORLOG (Races in the Elise Trophy) is hiring out an Elise at cost as a testbed for next year hiring out trackday cars. It`s shared between 4 drivers but at a superb offer of only £125 which includes the Elise, trackday, fuel, instructor and even a support team and yes i`ve got my name down :-D

So this will be the 1st time behinde the wheel of an Elise :rally: Can`t wait :smt118
Hoefully vid footage to come

BTW i think Gareth also has his name down

Monty,
I have a couple of pics of you getting in the car and chatting with your instructor.

If you remember Russ was kind enough to give me a pax lap in the exige with your instructor that day.

He looked like some doddery old bloke!!! so I though, "here we go, nice slow ride", could not be more wrong! I was shaking when I got out of that car! That guy can Drive!! whatever he was teaching you had to be the right thing mate!!
