Good possibility I'll be there but probably not in an Elan unless I bring the S2 out of hibernation. Had a rear wheel bearing collapse on Norma (without any warning) just before Christmas and although I got the bearings to replace I also need a stub axle and hub because they are b******d! Haven't been able to order these yet as all the usuals are closed until tomorrow.

Nige,

Sorry to hear about the probs with Norma. Have you tried alternative channels (Sy?) for instance, for the parts?

Hope to see you Wednesday, then,

Cheers

Jim

Well, we had a good natter and noggin last night - Rob, Michelle, Nige, Kier and self.

This was probably Kier's last meet as he is off to deep and darkest Devon soon - with good luck and best wishes from all of us.

Nige's explanation of how a wheel bearing fails comprehensively was, er, interesting/scary to say the least.

Nick, hope you enjoyed the film

Chris, hope to see you next month.

Jim, don't make me have to send you a PM about spelling my name wrong like I did Chris.t!

Thanks for your best wishes though, you've not seen the last of me!

Cheers,

Talking of that ridiculous bond film i caught the last few minutes. A lambo was pushed out of the back of a hercules transporter from god knows how high up 5000ft + and imbeds itself in a paddy field nose down in a paddy field halfway up the bonnet. you expect it to be a crumpled wreck but oh no not even the w/s was broken. If thats what the rest of the film was like i'm glad i missed it :?
