I have just bought my first Elan two weeks ago, 1991 in Calypso Red She seems to be in good condition however is running very rich at the moment.

I am based in Scotland, west lothian area and was looking to find out where and when any local meets are as it would be good to see some different cars and owners.

As Mark says, not much has changed. I'm up for doing our own 'M100 meet' once I've got my shiny new samco hoses fitted.

What's the betting Booby won't let me in to the car park if I turn up in my white van ? Even if it is sporting an LEC sticker.

Think I might come in the Collapso pink after all - assuming Manor garage have got the slight weep from one of my rear proportioning valves sorted.

Unfortunately I sold the clan a few years ago, it had a full race 998cc engine in it but I couldn't travel three miles in it without it breaking down on me. So you will never hear me slagging off Lotus reliability.

What time are you gonna be there? Can't go to the CL meet - no Lotus - water pump knackered and I know the trouble I'd be in turning up with anything else!!

Is the Hawes Inn the one under the rail bridge?

Sorry Richy - didn't see this until too late. Didn't come up to S. Queensferry as no one had replied and I didn't fancy supping on my tod. Perhaps we can be more organised next month ?
