I think RIP is a bit gutted though after all he did see it first allegedly!
I heard he also got 2 sets of fluffy dice and nodding dogs to go with them free too!
Whens the next highlander night lol ???

I'm not gutted.
It's true that I saw it first & would have liked it. I don't have the money & there are so many things I would like to do with mine (suspension, interior, roof seals, audio etc).
As Phil remarked on Wednesday, it is another NA saved (& in good hands too). I'm pleased about that.

I think Jeff is jealous!

He's in love, so he will be forgiven. He won't be jealous when he sees how much it's going to cost to fix the Golf, I doubt it would be worth fixing if it was going to be the usual garage/dealer rates. I was lucky to get it home alive!

In Love haha with a millionaires daughter or was it a lapdancer?
I think RIP won her over anyway!
LoL I really thought you were on a wind up about the Golf thrown in for free it already sounded to good to be true!!!
I liked the NA though it looked mint, when you going to super charge it?
forget about the neon's, the idea has put me on the Worlds Most Wanted List, but I still would like a new Perspex/acrylic plate made up 15mm extra each side!
BTW Ive got a few mates who soup up Golfs if you need any help!

The Golf is going to go to my mechanic for a winter project and he can see if it will be salvageable.
Not sure if pink neons would look good on the Golf, I'd have to turn up to the Ace on VW/Audi night, which is a different clientel all together!

1st meet of the New Year is Wednesday week - I'll be there as will SurfBoardFiller in one of his many Lotus beauties. Just hope the snow has gone, so that whichever one it is doesn't fade into the background

Hi Dave, I should be there too, though maybe in the Landie (again). Could you remember the rear lamp inner covers? Plus if anyone wants my last Momo steering wheel adaptor? Will have one for Phil as requested, unless he needs more now for his herd?

Yep, I'll bring along the plastic & Elanscan.
Elanscan won't help with your sooty exhaust because an SE has no sensors in the exhaust. You would need an exhaust gas analyser to set mixture correctly & I do not have one. For this reason, I've never adjusted CO (I do know roughly where the CO pot is but have never touched it).

I got a Boiler Flue Gas Analyzer but its out of calibration

Should have a company one too soon, maybe be could use that ???
Maybe I could do it by eye if I know which way to turn the Co Pot, the exhaust gases are very visible at the moment! (stupid idea?)
Prob be better when there is more light anyway on a Sat or later on in the year!
