Hi Chris
Castle Coombe was always going to be a bit of a challenge for me due to work commitments etc but as the weather was so good and there was the opportunity to put faces to some of the "legends" on here I thought the effort was worth it
However the robbing b@rs&rd ferry companies wanted the thick end of £80 for the 10 am over and 8pm back! Add a tank of petrol and it suddenly became a rather expensive burger
Still really sorry to have missed what was a really good day by the look of it,anyway back on thread I intend to be at the H&C if I have row the Élan over like a bloody canoe

Need to know who's going to be there tomorrow as it's going to be a busy day. Don't want to be there on my own.

Thanks to Dave for the Ypres presentation. I enjoyed the low level formation flying with Nick on the way home.

Not nice to come home to, Rob. This weather is really getting to me. Hope you manage to get it dried soon so you can get back to normal.

thanks, chris. we were lucky compared to lots of people and we haven't lost anything sentimental. I suppose that's one good thing about the digital age.

I think we're still set for the 29th Dave but with the weather as it is - who knows!

Hope it went well - unfortunately I had to empty/move shed in preparation for cavity wall insulation being installed in the morning (and if you don't already have it, now is a very good time to get it done free/cheap!)
Regards
Mark/.
