Good to see everyone, and enjoyed the drive across country, albeit some in the rain. Look forward to next meeting.,

Anyone fancy meeting at The White Horse High Cross near Ware, Herts?Decent car park, nice food, friendly staff. And I can almost walk home!

Well I can't! - that's 62 miles from home so would take me rather a long time to walk. :(

Good idea to get the meetings going again, with BST starting Sunday, but much prefer Queen Vic, which is 40 miles for me, and more centrally placed for Essex, Suffolk & Herts members to all have a moderate journey.

Location depends on what the others think of course, but passing Dunmow on the A120 to get to High Cross doesn't appeal to me much.

I'm more in line with lotusflasherman, as much as I would like to get together, Ware is a bit too far, 50+ miles.

I didn't look how far it is for me but guess it's about the same as the Queen vic. Happy to do either

I'd prefer Dunmow out of the two otherwise it's twice as far for me.

Not sure where you are but Google Maps says 'Brentwood' to Queen Vic is 22 miles, to White Horse, High Cross is 31 miles so not a big issue - at least you won't be driving past Dunmow like me. :(

Last year we were meeting 1st Wednesday in the month. Does that still suit every one? ... and is next Wednesday (6th April) too soon for folks to get their Elans out of hibernation?
