Could it have been Stuart, from Lickey End?

Are you guys up for another later this month or early next perhaps?

I'll have to check my diary when I'm at work, but it's as good a Thursday as any other, from what I can tell.

29th is free for me although I've got a particularly painful internal audit to conduct the next morning!
I'd like to see a few more YESes before we commit and I send out the texts...

Maybe we should go for a run?

For example, meet at the Talbot then take a drive to another pub?

If someone can't make the Talbot on time then they have the option of joining us at the second venue.

Yes, that would be nice. We could take in a pint of Batham's at the Swan!

Or better still do all of these Batham's although Betws-y-Coed is classed as over and above the call of duty! ;-)

I don't think we need drive to the Swan, it's only 100 yards from the Talbot...

However if Bathams is what you want then we could drive the long way round to the Plough at Shenstone.

Had a look at the Plough at Shenstone, hardly any parking so not really suitable.

Maybe we should try The Chequers at Cutnall Green, which has lots of parking and a nice beer garden if the weather is good. Banks Bitter, Ruddles County,Wye Valley HPA and Timothy Taylor Landlord are the draught beers.

Judging by the lack of response, I don't think this date is suitable for many, so I suggest we call it off and re-arrange it for another time.

Maybe as we get a bit further into the summer we should try to arrange a run?

I'm easy either way Phil. But I am guilty of not sending out the text message yet.
Let me know your decision, please...
