Myself and Rice Crispy were discussing meeting up for a catchup recently to take advantage of the nice weather.

We settled on the following
Thursday 4th Aug, between 7.00 and 7.30pm The Anchor, Danbury.

Without wanting to reinvent the meet, if anyone wants to join us they are more than welcome, it would be good to see more Elan's and owners for a chat

Good try - but it needs the very first post in the thread editing to reflect the whole 'title' thing...... which I've now done ;-)
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Enjoyed the good excuse to drive the Elan last night, :burnout: and in the dark (must align that high beam  )
It was great to see everyone again after such a long time, (one wasn't even an adult the last time I saw him  )
Great evening must do it again soon, especially while the weather is as nice as it is :gathering:

What a top down blast home on the Roxwell Road to Sawbridgeworth, (past The Hare), a road I know oh so well from commutes 25+ years ago when I lived in Chelmsford......

So great to see Mike Clogger, Mrs Clogger, Steve, Dave and H after too long (where were you Lesley A?)

Next time....
