Good to see everyone - I counted 6 Elans, all different colours, plus 1 Esprit.
Thanks to everyone for answering my long list of "Newbie" questions, and identifying the mystery parts (although I'm still not sure where that piece of curtain track came from

!)
Regards
Mark/.

Well folks, i know i wasnt able to make many of the H&C meets, but the few i did get to i enjoyed (even though i was hammered with hayfever on one of them)
However the time has come now(almost) for the end of my military career as it was due to be medically discharged out of the army, i am now on 4 months sick leave and as i live in doncaster (god's county of yorkshire) i really cant see me being able to justify tothe missus a 230 mile trip to see the guys and gurls again.
However, there is a good chance i'll be able to do the Donington thing next year, so might be able to catch up there (and yes Chris, i might still want to persuade you to let them useless wheels go!!)
I do know there is anyther forumite in doncaster with an elan, so i'm going to try get in touch with him for any future problems i might have, where to get the car serviced etc etc
Thanks for the good times, thanks for the help, and thanks for the laughs
GL to all
Mick
now i have one, i just want to keep tinkering with it!!!!!!!
sorry mum

Should be there but, Norma needs a water pump (cambelt etc at the same time) and I'm short of miles on the S2 as insurance renewal is due next month. So it might just be in the Alfa Snotterwagon!
Edit to above:
Sorry folks not going to make it tonight, late in from work, Norma not back at home yet and not feeling like another 100 mile round trip tonight. Hopefully I'll be back on form for November. Chris, I'll PM you my phone numbers so you can call me re Le Mans.
