I googled pub car meets in Essex and it came up with The Thatchers Arms in Mount Bures. Apparently they encourage a car meet and they appear to have 55 spaces in the car park, of course I don't know how many people turn up on a Friday.
Its also more North Essex, but I thought Id throw it in the pot.

The weather forecast has got thunderstorms for Friday at 6pm.
I've been out driving the Elan in a thunderstorm and its not an experience that I want to repeat, so it might be worth cancelling.
Wednesday and Thursday next week are looking really sunny for next week and it has the advantage that the pub will be quieter and therefore more room in the car park?

And it's better if we can sit outside

Everyone else happy with this? If so I’ll ping the facebook post to update.
Also everyone comfortable with Hurdlemakers?
If not, The Swan at Chapel has massive car park and beer garden and large selection of food.

Hi all
Away for a few days next week - it’s just possible I’ll be back in time - Hurdlemakers is fine with me.

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
