That's that sorted Elan now back road legal just the MOT to sort out in the next couple of weeks.
Just hope the weather is good for Tuesday April 10th but knowing my luck April will be cold and wet.

Mines taxed and now in bits as I decieded it was time to get on with a few jobs like change the steering wheel, sort out the dials, gear cables and short shift for a start. Would have made it go brummmm but the battery was flat no life in it all so on to the charger it went.

Thanks, now my mouth's watering, I think customs are on a go slow, and Lotus decided to do a stocktake, looks I may not have my bits till after Easter. By the way has anybody got any bits of the Elan grey carpet they dont want? I need a piece about a foot square.

Willhook inthe garage tomorrow see if I have any of the carpet I used on the doors left. It's not Lotus carpet so may be no good to you if you are trying to match some existing
Let me know if you want some if I can find it
