Bit of a last-minute attempt at a list!

Unfortunately, I'm on nights, Angie will be at her dads in Cornwall, and I'll go and see my dad when i get up, so not for us :(

Dave1: After a day decorating I'm shagged out so will think about it tomorrow morning - any idea when the Vulcan display will be on anyone?

Dave2: I only saw it on the local news at half 6 last night - seems like it was only confirmed at the last minute.

I am now an Elan owner In Trowbridge ( nr Bath) and would love to come to a meet. Also another lad I know in Glos should be getting one this weekend to.

Anyone going to Castle combe for the last action day this year, or for Rally day? I will attending both.

Does a saab estate technically qualify as a "performance" car? :-)

Its has 250bhp as standard  so It does have some performance , it would shame the Elan for straight line performance and would out brake the lighter Elan,, just doesn't go around the corners half as good as the Lotus 8)

Well, far be it for me to be so "easy", but I was due to start a new job (well, back to one of my old ones, anyway) in September......

....my employer is not noted for their alacrity in wishing to lose valuable personnel (so until the other bloke moves I can't have my job!).

I am currently still off for another week, so won't find out anything until next weekend.

The 'new' job is going to give me weekends off (except for the odd one or two), so I would think if we looked at a Weekend type date, it is likely to work for me

Cough!

In the absence of any sensible suggestions, how about the weekend of the 5th & 6th December? I suggest it's time we headed South, so how about suggesting somewhere around WSM. :poke:

I'm on lates on the Sunday (starting at 1400) - but can try for a couple of hours off if the date suits others. On the Saturday I'm on 1700-0300, so its a cr@p shift to do anything on.

The way it's looking, this is probably the best weekend before Christmas, as I still don't have a start date for my new job :censored:

Sundays are better for me......

Good excuse to escape from baby induced hermit life style

(also if Geoff still has some discs for me may be a good time to make LEC donation)

Cheers
