Good post, Chris.

Kitty stands at £9.65

You forgot to mention my wishbone changing service :)

We should rethink the venue - it's doing my head in - Jen and I may be forced to visit pubs in the area - all in the interests of research, you understand :)

£1.75 for coffee - they're having a giraffe.

Cheers

Hmmm, I suppose that's almost true - although I'm not looking forward to my first engine swap :)

Re the venue, I have no problem changing the day to say, Thursday, if it makes it more convenient for others. Also, The Plucking Pheasant is not a pub anymore, its a restaurant. I wish it every success but think its not for us and we should go back to the H & C and rethink - at least they nearly had a table big enough for us.

so what does everyone think about going to Monkey World then? Other suggestions were Lulworth Cove.

Sounds like a good idea - but why don't we do both!

i.e. RV at Monkey World, then drive on to Lulworth - it's not far.

Sounds like a plan - gets my vote. You forgot to mention it's a pretty soulless restaurant.

I am OK with the H&C again, or another :? :?
A turdsday would be better for me if there is no objections, and no rain would be ideal :-D :-D

If i bring me ltop to the next meet we can put everyones locations in on Autoroute and see what the fairest local would be for the monthly meet. i have strange feeling that it will just happen to be the H & C but hey

Fair enough, but there are other pubs within a 3 mile radius of H+C. I was just looking for an excuse for a mini pub crawl ;)

Jim

I retract my previous post on the grounds it may jeopardise Jims recon of the area for suitable pubs

Why don't we do one at the next meet? Start at H&C and move on every hour and we could have compared 4 by the end of the evening.

Of course, you'd have to post a timetable for those who don't turn up promptly... :smt120
