Hi, I've been reading the previous posts and is this still at the H & C Near Alton? If so what time do you all meet?

This may be my only (and first) chance for a while to come along so need to confirm time and place.

Hope to see you all tonight

Well another good turnout.

Attendees

Chris and Deirdre (In the VX)
Rob Michelle and Charlie (in the new Honda Civic snotter)
Nick (came in people mover because it was raining)
Nick (no nibbles on his £3,000 Elan that is up for sale)
Me*
Kier*
Steve S* – welcome
Mark*

We had a chance to admire the Pistachio coloured Elan and hear about Kier’s project. Good stuff!

We took over the smoker’s corner (outside) and discussed a wide variety of topics. It was good to see Rob and Michelle’s new snotter.

Good, too, to see a new face. We hope the large, grey-haired ‘gentlemen’ didn’t overawe Steve! We all wish Steve good luck on his trip to the ‘sandpit’.

Kitty stands at £8.50

Maybe see some on you on Saturday’s bike ride - weather permitting.

Safe journeys

Jim

Bit of an advanced request for next H&C meeting!

Is there any chance I could borrow someone with an SE's B-post caps??? I'm making the assumption they come off the car with ease?, I'm sure someone will tell me if they don't :-)

I wish to make my own, however I need a kind person to lend me theirs for me to look at in detail and take photos. I'd also like to take a plasterscene impression of the front and back of them if I can? Having never seen what they look like underneath I'm not sure how complicated they are? It maybe my plans are not feasible, what are your thoughts gents?

If realistic, I can do this at the H&C pub so they won't even go out of your sight! If I could also take pics of the part they fix to on the car (my plastic has broken so I'd like to see what exactly is missing from my moulding!

Cheers, Kier.

I'll be there.

Sorry to hear about your problem, Mark.

Is there anyone going Thursday that is going to Hethel?

I ask because I need a favour - i.e. two wheels without tyres to be transported up there for one of our overseas visitors.

Please PM me if you can help

Tks

I won't be at the meet tomorrow Jim, but I'll be going to Hethel in the Honda if not the Elan, so you're very welcome to drop off the tyres here. You could even drop them off on the way to the meet tomorrow.

Mark, Chris,

Thanks for the offers - that's very kind of you. I'll bring them to the meet tomorrow and PM the potential buyer to meet up with you at Hethel.

Rgds
