now you've done it !
Holding a meeting at one of my old "locals"
It's a shame that I have moved a 100 miles away.
Were you aware that part of the film "Genevieve" was filmed on the common opposite ?
The farm just across the road (no longer used as such) was owned by members of my
family.
Alongside the pub is the entrance to Moor Park Golf Course. The road running through
there, exiting at the bottom Rickmansworth hill was a superb "special stage" at night until
they put speed humps in.
Perhaps I'll make a "trip down memory lane" in the summer and visit with you.
Regards
Jim
