Lotus Elan Central

After getting a real buzz back from the Elan Crowd at Snetterton, I realised my local meets have dwindled and bringing the community together is important.

My new pad is near Kettering and has a spacious back garden and can cater for stop-overs with spare room and sofa beds downstairs. Good for those travelling or those who like their whisky!

It was loosely bounded about that I would open doors to an Elan gathering, so here is my probe of interest!

Details can be sorted if it looks a goer.

Everyone loves a goer Stef

Count me in, but only if I can make cocktails....

Have you got anything particular in mind?

I'm not far away so I'd be interested.

Drink Shaun's cocktails at your own risk.. Dr Bunhead will create them in a lab

Nothing particular in mind. Weather dependent to a degree. BBQ if poss or we could invade the village pub or go to one of the good Indian's. Could also cater a chilli (or varieties at different Scovill scales) or similar

Maybe look at organising a quick blip around the local area too.

Easy to chill really, sometimes best left to go with the flow having a bank of ideas to draw on if required.

I think a Blip would be a good idea as Rip missed out on one at Snetterton.

Who likes Hot Chilli, I've heard that Stef's is more dangerous than my vodka

Stef, any ideas a date for this? July 9/10th is good for me

9/10 July no good, got a mate up from Saturday, she's not seen my new pad yet! And isn't a petrolhead

Can certailny arrange a blip about. Will feel about for a goodun

My diary is a bit limited. Could squeeze in 16/17 July. There is the Festival of History at Kelmarsh that weekend, just down the road, which may also interest some. Very cool reinactments! http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/days ... 4Qod1hwGYQ
Note, it plays music when you open the link.

Otherwise it's September onwards.

I did the failed track record attempt but where did y'all go afterwards?

Yet. Correction required?

I mean your desire to leave the track and go for a drive on Saturay night

Absolutely, do you need to be a petrolhead to eat, drink and party?

Get what you are saying guys but she's a Londoner, so a GeeWizz with a go-faster stripe is about as exciting as things can get! Just not her bag.

Could see what she says, but I wouldn't want to sacrifice our quality time either. Oh, and despite what some may think, she will be having the spare room and that would then leave you guys who may stay over just on the sofas!

What dates are preferred anyway, September suitable?
