Very nice indeed Tim. :-)

If they get bedded in before the test they should be excellent. If you're not sure what to do with your old rear calipers, I'd like a set to take apart and try refurbishing without having to take my car off the road. Let me know what you'd like for them. I don't need the discs as mine are still very good.

I am expecting to be along for the meet and will be travelling down from Ilford as that is where I'll be during the day, so I'll go up there in the Elan and take the M2 I guess (or wherever TomTom sends me)! You guys have my number in case you need it (from last weekend).

Looking forward to this. :)

I'm rather hoping that David might come along, as he posted earlier in this thread.

Anyone else who feels they'd like the evening out, please join in. :)

A good day out in the sunshine yesterday with Tim & Jane, Tony & Debs. We all had our fish and chips sat on the seawall in Dymchurch
in the early evening sunshine. We definitely enjoyed the ride out and commented that it must be done again. Lyn and I thouroughly
enjoyed out ride out and even driving home in the dark still had the roof down following Tony & Debs along the busy M20.
Great idea Tim

A really pleasant evening, in both weather and company :D

Thank you all for making the effort to come along, I'm glad we were rewarded with the perfect weather. Maybe next time we'll make our way to Dungeness and sample the radioactive fish and chips ;-)
I think The Woolpack Inn is worth another visit too.

I'm slightly reluctant to post my pictures since Trevor has done such an excellent job...

here goes anyway.

Anybody fancy getting together at some point this side of Christmas?

Maybe not at the Grasshopper this time but I'm sure we can find an alternative meeting place.

Hi all,

I haven't forgotten about the winter meet, its just that with Christmas getting in the way now and the lack of decent weather there hasn't really been a suitable day to aim for.

Perhaps, if we get a colder beak in the weather that might bring out the sun and with it a better day to exercise new tyres (Trevor) and meet up.

In the meantime I wish you all seasonal cheer and look forward to seeing you in the New Year.

Tim

Sounds good Tim, actually took her out today as it's so mild out there and gave her a good run :burnout:

Or anybody know of any other gatherings in this area soon ?

I'd be happy to although you'd have to put up with me in a 1968 Elan Plus 2 as I erroneously sold the M100...

I think Tim is in the same boat at the moment, but who knows, we might be able to coax Trevor out. :)

Damn, I only wanted to poke around other peoples M100s so I could see what I'm missing or whether mine rattles in the right places !! :)

Always up for a meet and :gathering: like most of these things just needs organising and
an agreed meeting place and date - never easy.
