Before I rush to get my car ready (unplug the battery conditioner and check the tyre pressures) - is anyone else going to turn up?

To save me trawling through the whole thread, could one of you kindly remind me where the meet takes place and at what time and whether there are eating possibilities?
As I have started to think about putting my Elan back on the road, it would be useful to meet some of the "locals".

I may not manage to attend this time but if not now, possibly next time.

7pm onwards.

they sell food, the burger and steak with stilton are to my liking... for whatever that means.

I have double booked miself for tomorow with the girlfriend, not sure if it makes sence to bring her along as there would be little in common for her to join in the banter...

althoug... considering i will be doing a clutch change soon... i could entertain everyone with questions about such task

I'll be there too. Which car depends on whether or not the M100 passes it's MOT tomorrow (Thursday).

Niall, I could give you a lift if you want if your Elan is currently off the road: save you driving and not finding the pub!!

Where in Malvern are you? PM me details.

it will be a last minute decision here. its depending on my friend needing help inspecting an MR2 that appeared for sale yesterday + GF situation, and me figuring out which comments are serious or joke in this thread :P

Joao,

You should have been here long enough now to realise that banter on here stays as just that.....

....we all know how to behave in real life, and if/when you decide to introduce your GF to the group, we will behave appropriately.

I have no doubt that this group would behave appropriately in the presence of a lady, in fact i dont recall ever hearing any comments that a lady would find offencive by anyone from this forum. either in or without the presence of a lady.
My consern is mainly the fact that im not sure if she will find the experience enjoyable. although im willing to risk finding it out tonight

Well, unless she is a Conveyancing Solicitor she will be okay with the (usually multi-faceted) conversation..... but I shall no doubt be griping about the delays in our house purchase to anyone who cares to listen, or can't escape in time

(It's okay, John - I know you don't do that side of the business, so you're safe  )

Usual 19.30 Geoff. Late comers accepted though......
