Hi guys. Good to meet up yesterday evening and October is in the diary already. Ironically having listened to the discussion about headlights and thought how lucky I am, when I switched them off in the garage they closed but the driver's side kept whirring for a few seconds after the pod was down. Today I switched them on, same whirring and off, same thing. is this an indication they are about to fail?

It usually means the plastic pellets are breaking down and the motor is no longer "stalling" when the housing is fully up. Soon, they will not go up without help.

If they do fail, you can always unplug the motor feed wire and crank them up manually and leave them up until you get around to rebuild them.
