New owner of M100, Hertfordshire

Postby Haribo » Thu 09.02.2017, 19:59

Hi all. Actually got my m100 last July, only just managed to sign up on forum though. Hoping to get help and tips when needed (which I believe is highly likely with a lotus :D !). Luckily though my OH also owns an excel and a esprit so help is also closer to home. Really looking forward to having lots of adventures in it and possibly coming to meet ups, even though I'm a total car novice.

Hey!!

Welcome to LEC :gathering:

I assume your M100 is Aqua Blue?

Also, there's plenty of help here so ask away if you have any issues or post away if you have any tips, mods etc!!

regards

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Yes my car is Azure blue, love it. When I see it in my wing mirrors when I'm driving it always makes me smile. I'm in Stevenage. Haven't seen many m100's round here. Got it in July last year, only seen 2 on the road since then. Can't wait to get out and about with it. We're going to Donington in April and was looking at various shows last night, got a few noted, will be good

Yours is not Azure. That is a strong dark-ish blue.
Pacific is mid blue.
Medina Green & Aqua are both quite light & look similar, but one has more green in it. They can be difficult to tell apart in certain lighting unless you see them both together.
I can't see any green in yours so it looks like Aqua.

Welcome, if your OH has an Excel & Esprit too I'm wondering if you know about the regular meets of Lotus owners. Really just an excuse to go for a drive, do a bit of mutual admiration, socialize and share 'tales of woe' . There is usually a couple of M100's there as well. Lotus essex herts cambs-group

Duxford is a nice day out that may interest both of you - https://www.thelotusforums.com/forums/t ... 0th-april/

Leave me alone, I think I know what I'm doing.

I'd agree. Certainly not Azure or PB

More like Aqua than MG too

Anyway, whatever the colour, it's always fun in an M100 :burnout:

Laser blue maybe? (but I don't think it's a regular color for an M100)

Didn't mean azure, meant aqua, sorry, getting my colours mixed up

Thanks for the link re the meet ups, unfortunately we won't be able to do the duxford one this year as that's when Donington is, but we'll have a look at other meets. My OH is now a member of the lotus club so sure we'll find something. Just have to decide which car we're taking that's all :)
