Hi from New Jersey

Postby marvic » Fri 11.08.2017, 23:34

I've been lurking for a few weeks since I purchased the car. No surprises, it's red! But matches the Caterham. It's been great reading so many useful posts for a newbie and getting used to the car. Luckily not too many projects, minor maintenance items so far and just driving it!

I'll get a bit more active here so apologies if I ask those stupid questions!

Where about in New Jersey?

The only stupid question is the one you didn't ask. Lots of good advice and answers, so ask away. Which car did you buy? Was it someone on LEC?

Pictures are also welcomed and appreciated.

Hi. Thanks for the welcome.

I'm close to Turnpike Exit 8 in Monroe. Car did come from another LEC member RacerSteve I think was his username.

I will compress a few pics and get uploaded and Yes! Of course the red ones are the fastest!

Welcome.
Glad you're enjoying the car.
It is reassuring to buy from someone known within the community, especially when they hang around for a while.

Hi Marvic from another newbie. I had a red one but my wife didn't like it, said it was too fast, so bought a black one. Their not as fast but more reliable. Mine is the first M 100 brought into the states and driven hard by Doc Bundy. It has only 135,000 miles & I intend to put many more on it, touring. I'm heading up to Cape May later this month for the Woodcock, but not in the Elan, as I'm taking my bird dog along. Ron

Hope you make use of those Pin feathers!, some of the greatest pieces of Artwork were done with those. Personally I would rather watch them Roding over their breeding areas late on a Spring evening.
Please don't shoot them all :D .
