Better. I've just been and collected them.
They cost £130+VAT=£152.75.
Due to the green on the circular badge being quite dark they had to double-print it, which has caused a little bit of bleed in some of the more detailed areas.
However the sets have all been supplied in 3's, and no cutting will be needed.
A pretty good job all in all - I'm pleased with them anyway.

I know I said this before, but it was a while ago so here's the distribution plan:

The stickers will be first come, first served on the Saturday (and maybe the Sunday too if any are left over - which I doubt).

No advance payments will be taken as it just wouldn't be worth it.
They will be available from the LEC stand. I will request reimbursement of my costs at that time from the keeper of the kitty.

So please can everybody "feed the kitty" on the day?

I need to restrict the stickers to one set per owner - after all you still get 3. If any are left they can stay with the stand for the next show, when we can consider doing the same again.

While 100 sets may not seem like a lot, its a similar number to the maximum expected to participate in the convoy.
If it goes well we can always do an extra run afterwards, which can be held onto for next time.

I'll print off a list of the convoy participants before the day, and everyone who turns up out of the first 100 can consider themselves to have a set reserved.

Get your names added to the convoy list folks - less than 25 spaces left for a guaranteed sticker set! 8)

Looking good - it might be worth posting a suggested amount for donation to the kitty.

Um, OK - if I must. :?

I was sort of shying away from doing that a bit, because I don't want LEC to be seen as taking the p!$$ out of Club Lotus after Nige et all agreed a discounted rate for our stall, based on the fact that we weren't actually selling anything from it.

So I've made no secret of my costs (£1.53 per set plus a few quid for petrol). If I call it £1.65 - there were a LOT of trips back and forth - everyone putting in £2.00 covers my costs and LEC gets nearly 20%.
Anything above that is a bonus. I'm sure anyone's extra generosity will be appreciated.

I'm reminded of our glorious leader Doug's recent quote - LEC is a virtual club, so you get virtually nothing - anything above and beyond that is a bonus! :-D

Just remember that this is a far more helpful and dedicated resource than anything else, including Club Lotus themselves (which costs infinitely more)!

For the Mug and sticker i was thinking of sticking a Tenner in the pot :?

IIRC Mug is £4.50, Sticker £2, that`ll be £3.50 to LEC

Geoff, your line-drawing logo is one of the classiest visuals associated with our car. A few sweeps of the pen capturing the essence! You should be very proud of this work.

Why thank you Doug. It was actually a scan of a doodle and lots of bit fiddling!

Geoff, I didn't know you were the artist. I'm glad you did it, though. It looks great on my jacket (IMO).
