Might be a bit cold for that mate :smt044

The problem is Dico will already be my passanger for the day but i'll see if i can do a 2nd, but not sure if the passanger needs to be at the briefing :?

blimey hasn't dico had enough, whens he going to track his own car???
Don't think passengers have to be at the briefing cos they're doing the charrideee pax sessions. i'll make sure i've got me helmet and no short sleeves don't you worry.
Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?

1) he`s not been to one for a while
2) Never cause he likes pork

Yeah if your doing the charity passanger ride thats fine but looks like the cost is going to be £25  which last year was £5 for 3 laps  But if your paying i`ll see if i can do a few extra laps

BTW it`s a shame you not doing the trackday yourself, could of brought the VX :?

I`m sure some of the members would love the chance of having a pax ride in an elise :-D
Yeah 25 is a bit steep

Fair play i suppose it is for charity. It is a bit of a rise after £5 last year. I would have thought £10 or £15 would be more reasonable. I hope it does not put people off.

:agree: My two lads missed out last year because we were not able to stay long - £20 is a bit too steep I'm afraid.

Hmm...Monty you could undercut them and do your own charity rides for a tenner....that might piss people off though ...tough, it's a free world :-D

£25 is going to kill it. How long is a session? Surely the driver, who afterall is paying for the trackday, can say who is going to be a passenger and whether they pay or not. This cannot be obligatory. Was this a condition of entry to the trackday? I am already giving money to certain charities and feel i do enough. However, if it was a tenner i'd go for it.

With LoT i can take one passanger free of charge, other TDO`s charge for passanger ie £10 you get a wrist band and last all day. But i don`t know if there`s a limit on how many passangers i can take that way :? I`m not going to tread anyones toes at LoT and just have to see what happens on the day. I was looking forward to taking some of the LEC members round the track

IMHO Club Lotus have just got greedy
Last year they had to stop selling tickets in the morning as there was just to many people wanting to do the passanger rides

Personley i`m not keen on taking people out who have paid £25 as i`m no race drive like some of the guys who will be out there in there Elise/Exige gong side ways :?

If you all have plastic surgery you could pretend you're me, and jump in with Murph as a passenger. And as a bonus you could do some modeling work afterwards.

As I have a similar build to Dico, I will be able to pass myself off as him...ON THINKNG ABOUT IT..SURELY ALL YOU NEED IS YOUR WHITE WRISTBAND AND SIGN ALL YOUR RIGHTS AWAY!

Only a very attentive LOT organiser would notie that you have different peeps in the car...as long as they show there wrist band you are sorted!!!

I now believe that Club Lotus are doing the Charity laps for £25 and you get 5 laps.
