on the stand was a front ball joint and the owner was looking to find out which car it came from - I replaced mine last year with assistance from Pete at PNM - I believe it was a Triumph ball joint from a 2000

however the Lotus sale has this item in thier sale

A100C6020F Ball Joint-Lower Link Elan 1989 on orig cost £78.57 sale price £31.50 volume 353

not sure if this is what you were looking for

As posted above A100C6020F is the TCA ball joint. I think the upper ones sourced via PNM were around the £30 mark? Which is good if it's true because they were north of £150 a couple of years ago (well the Lotus part was when it was available!)

Cheers

30 quid - thats a steel, i think i'll get myself a couple of spares. I know that SWL were selling them for 40 about 3 years ago but they ran out but just before they did they hoyked the price to 80. But 150 thats is extortionate.
Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?
