I've got one but I haven't even seen it myself! Probably got one of you on the M1 as well.

Ah, this jogged my memory.

A few weeks ago at the Brands Hatch meeting the week after Donington, I bumped into a chap called Alan Morgan.

He basically is the man at the top of Club Lotus, and if we want anything doing, then it would be very useful to keep on his good side.

He said that an Elan convoy would be welcome at Stoneleigh this year. And I'm thinking that if we can put on a good show, then it may be a foundation on which we can secure some nice reserved parking at Donington next time.

Neil, frankly i thought the overflow car park wasn't too bad and thought that it might not be bad if we all go straight in there. I have noticed in the past that others have been disgruntled on our take over, albeit part, of the main carpark. If we could get gauranteed alloted space in o/f carpark it might be easier all round. Beware though, the carpark attendants there have very small brains so it would be best to make any instructions clear and simple. On the sunday, the idiots directed people so that i was blocked in

Right with you on that one Chris.
It's close enough to the main event, and we'd still be able to put on a good show by being all together (if that's the way we want to do things in future).
All I'm saying is that I know who we need to keep "in" with if that's the case, and the first opportunity to build on it.

Neil

Rest assured, both Nigel and myself are in regular contact with Alan.
