Sy, thats the most diplomatic wording ive ever heard
Matt, the momo handbrake, i got from
www.demon-tweeks.co.uk. They do various styles, the one ive got is product code MOMM15511501115, also you will need small rubber adaptor to fit on end of the handbrake, as the opening on the momo one is quite a bit larger, the one i used ( fits perfect ) is product code MOMA225011500002.

Don't know Gary, will ask them when i go back, what colour would you be looking at, black ?. Mind you, you have the advantage of being local, & they could fit them for you.

Sorry guts! That is simply the result of the 't' being next to the 'y'. Good thing dueling has been banned in our respective countries. (There was actually a case in the early 1800's USA when 2 of the President's cabinet members dueled & one killed the other! Think of that today. How times have changed. One, I believe, was the Secretary of War.)
I too remember the F1 JPS days, and thought they were the sexiest cars rolling. When you are in your formative years newly dealing with testosterone things like that stay with you for life.
Your re-creation is a testament to your tenacity. I know seeing this through has been a challenge. That is why I am "saving" all the expensive & "can't buy them at the local hardware store" parts I can... so things will go more quicky & without the headaches and patience required again. However, any project which is of our own making never truly finishes, does it?

what do you reckon???......
sorry the 'art work' is so crap...I've only got MS paint on this machine and it was a spontaneous thing
cheers

I like the way that the decals pick up the crease line from the front bumper and join it with the rear. Looks great. Perhaps silver would be a better colour for us mere mortals, or black for the lighter colours. But other than that, very "OEM".

My black Elan has a silver pinstripe running along the cheat line - very stylish it is, too.

Cor that's clean! Very nice.
Are you tempted to go for the clear indicators too?

We're in danger of hi-jacking this thread, but yes, clear indicators are on the list for my project - which is at the 'sod! I'm going to have to angle grind that off' phase at present - slowly moving towards the 'hell's teeth, that rust will never come off' phase ...
and so on
I'll prolly open up another project thread when it's a bit less dull
